Tim Mills

Investment Director

Tim is an Investment Director at the newly formed British Business Bank and also leads the investment activity and operations of the Angel CoFund.

Tim started his career with Merrill Lynch, joining their graduate leadership programme to spend several years working in Europe, North America and Asia. Tim became an Associate Vice President in the technology group at Merrill before moving to Barclays Capital to work on the integration of the firm's expanding global operations. In the past Tim has worked with a leading credit analytics consultancy and one of the UKs largest hedge funds.Prior to the creation of the British Business Bank, Tim spent 5 years with Capital for Enterprise, leading investments into venture capital funds as well as launching various funds, including the Angel CoFund. 

Tim has a B.Sc. in Business and Technology and holds a full-time MBA from Manchester Business School.


Sam Fennell

Senior Investment Manager

Sam joined the then newly-launched Angel CoFund in March 2012.

Sam began her career in 1990 as an analyst with the Small Cap Equity Research Team at Kleinwort Benson. She remained with the bank until 1999 in various roles before moving to the Deutsche Bank oil team, becoming an MD of Deutsche Bank in 2004. More recently Sam has worked as a freelance analyst writing research pieces for a number of companies across a range of sectors.


Paul Fauset

Senior Investment Manager

Paul is a Senior Investment Manager with the British Business Bank, focussing on the Angel CoFund.

Paul's early career was spent with Barclays Capital in London and New York, in Corporate Banking and Global Loans Syndications. He later worked at KPMG Corporate Finance in Leeds and latterly with Hawsons Corporate Finance in Sheffield where he focussed on MBOs and MBIs, as well as managing disposals and due diligence assignments.

Paul is a Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute and holds a BSc and MBA (with distinction) from the University of Nottingham.


Anu Adebajo

Investment Analyst

Anu joined the Angel CoFund as an Investment Analyst in December 2012.

Before joining the CoFund, Anu worked at Ecobank in Business Relations. Prior to this she was in the Finance team at Irwin Mitchell Sheffield, and a Financial Consultant with Capita Hartshead in Leeds.

Anu ran a Shell Livewire award-winning online start-up after graduating from the University of Nottingham in 2008 with a BA (Hons) in Finance, Accounting and Management.
