Neurovalens raises £1.1 million for its wearable brain stimulation device

July 19, 2017

Northern Ireland-based health tech startup Neurovalens has raised a seed round of £1.1 million to accelerate the production of its wearable device for stimulating the brain.

The funding comes from Angel CoFund, Beltrae Partners, and TechStart NI.

The funding will allow the company to move from prototyping to full production. It will be launching its first product, Modius, a wearable device for stimulating the brain’s hunger and metabolism functions, through an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign where it will seek to raise $50,000.
